An account calling itself Mandy Machiavelly posts a picture in Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/mandymachiavelli/posts/pfbid023JeMx8ytWB9Epj3gAYY1qdTVC2YhyKe53VoESFF58wS8nbVsZh6TsTUSm413pveHl -- with the writing on it saying:

"My therapist once told me, "Anger is the part of you that loves you the most. It shows up when you are being mistreated, ignored, or disrespected. It's a signal--calling you to step away from what's harming you. Whether it's a room, a job, a relationship, or an old version of yourself, anger lets you know when it's time to walk away. If you learn to listen to it, to trust it, and to make it your ally, it won't need to shout so loudly." That conversation never left me--it changed the way I see myself."

And types as plain text in the same Facebook entry:

"Anger is the souls immune system protecting the body/psyche.

It is generally misconstrued as a negative emotion however it plays an important role in our lives.

Anger protects the ego from damage.

Sadness, disappointment—emotional hurt—creates space for repair and healing.

Anger is a natural emotion that should not be repressed, it should be filtered and integrated so as to not block us from engaging the true emotion felt."
