posicSome 10-15 years ago, even 5 years ago, many people -- particularly, outsiders -- perceived me as a suicidal idiot who was going to die of starvation while doing impenetrable research about obscure concepts of my own invention, which nobody cared about. As such, I only deserved a pity, or arrogant words of unrequested advice from the mouths of wiser men.
Now some years have passed, and many people -- particularly, outsiders -- have started to perceive me as a stinky rich idiot who is sitting out there waiting to be taken advantage of. As such, from their perspective, I only deserve to be defrauded of my riches by smarter men capable of devising a proper approach to a stinky rich idiot.
Naturally, I was not interested in their opinions back then. Naturally, I am not interested in their approaches now.
