This is certainly a very bad decision, both as an act of judicial usurpation of democratic legislative powers, and in substantial terms. This is another step on the road of injustice, the road away from freedom.
But at the end of the day, it is not a problem of judicial interpretation. The anti-discrimination legislation should not be interpreted or reinterpreted. It should be repealed, in its entirety.
Discrimination is a right. A corollary to the freedom of association.
The political Left's offensive against the free society continues unabated. Yes, I do hope that it will generate a backlash of such proportions as to ruin the reputation of the leftist ideas and bury their appeal. No, I do not expect that I will live to see it.
