I agree that learning a postmodern nonsense is a waste of time, but it looks like an inverse version of feminism. It is not very good actually.

She is right. I agree with what she is saying (to the limited extent that my ears can recognize her English).

Everyone can do with his/her life whatever he/she wants, as long as it does not interfere with the life, liberty, and property of others. Everyone is also entitled to believe whatever (ridiculous thing) he/she wants to believe, like that he/she is special, super-talented or whatever. But most people aren't.

Now, the average man is better off working productively on the market and making money. And the average woman is better of being a wife and a mother. That's what I think.

If I were asked to formulate feminism in one sentence, I would say that it amounts to the proposition that women are invited to consider themselves to be married to the State, rather than personally to any specific men. The basic reason why feminism is wrong is because this is not actually a good marriage option.

And, aside of this interesting "feminist marriage option", most women are just not particularly good workers (outside of the home). That's the reason why, under anything resembling free market conditions, women always were, and always will be, underrepresented in the more prestigious professions and overrepresented in the less prestigious ones.

I suppose it depends on the field. For instance, I do not see women's underrepresentation in biology or in medicine.

I am ready to admit that I have not done my homework on these instances. But surely we presently don't have anything resembling free market conditions either in science and education, or in medicine.

Women are underrepresented in high-stress, high-responsibility, sole-performer fields of medicine and biology, and over-represented in "safe", "work-with-people-and-children" areas such as child development and nursing.

The book "Why men earn more" shows lots of data and explains why this happens.

Sounds like what I am doing. Mine is a high-risk, high-responsibility, sole-performer approach to research in mathematics :-)

Thank for your reference: I will have a look at this book.

But your statement is not quite correct: there many women in microbiology - http://www.browndailyherald.com/2016/03/16/women-in-science-tend-to-gravitate-toward-biology-cognitive-sciences/ . Maybe there is some underrepresentation, but it is not large.

The youtube video has English auto-generated subtitles - let me know if you have trouble getting to view them.

Her videos are not always as clear and coherent as this one, I don't usually listen to her a lot, but this video really stands out.

Oh, now I found the subtitles. Thanks a lot!
