posicСемь лет назад я служил визитором в институте ИХЕС под Парижем, и там был еще другой математик, кажется, из Канады или Штатов, с которым мы за обедом любили спорили о политике. Однажды, уже после обеда, проходя мимо меня, присевшего где-то с газеткой, что ли, он решил продолжить разговор и привел, как ему, возможно, казалось, решающий аргумент:
- But what is property? The government protects it.
- The government protects many things. Say, you have two kidneys. Does the government protect them?
- Yes.
- Can it take one of them away?
